I'm thinking of resubscribing but...
there appears to be a lot of old videos from regular Drive. Which isn't great because
1. I don't want my Sub box to be flooded with old videos I have already seen.
2. I unsubscribed because of the lack of content.
3. Conspiracy Theory: Regular Drive is getting shut down and they are migrating the videos over. If True, which I doubt that is a shitty thing to do and I don't want to support that.
So any thoughts?

I don't know what they're doing now. I paid for a month back when they first introduced Drive + and was disappointed by the rate of new content. It may have been "off-season" for them, but it didn't seem worth it at the time. The free channel used to have bursts and lulls in content uploads, but it was free, so who could complain. With a paid channel you can complain, and you can unsubscribe, which is what I did. I think a steadier stream of new content would help them a lot.

I just unsubscribed for a number of reasons:
1) Nowhere near enough video content to justify the price
2) Chris Harris is gone.
3) Matt Farah's One Take videos on his SmokingTire channel are better than his Drive+ reviews, not to mention he has had some thoroughly entertaining One Takes lately with fan's cars.
4) Motortrend has more content, more resources, their own talking Stig (Randy Pobst), better cinematography, and more entertaining segments.

The later you subscribe, the more content you can view. So, I'm holding out until they prove themselves.

Couldn't have said it better. Less new content than the free channel used to have, and Chris Harris was my favorite. What you say about Matt Farah is also true. I like Big Muscle too, but it wasn't worth subscribing just for that.
Everyday Driver, different story. Most of their stuff is free, and very well done. Based on that, I rented each of their longer pieces on Vimeo - yes, a video rental rather than a channel subscription. It was $2 each, and I got more than $2 of enjoyment out of watching them. I likely wouldn't watch them again, and that's fine - they got the money they deserve, and I'm not obligated to keep paying each month for new content that may or may not appear like on Drive+.

I also paid to see Everyday Driver's "50 Years of the 911" special. Well worth the money. I didn't know they had a second paid special. Do you remember what it was called or what it was about? I'm now impatiently waiting for their 4C/Cayman/Elise special!

That's the one. It's out. It's very good. I can't remember the name though.
